Jimmy Fallon Apologizes For Alleged Toxic Work Environment

Presenter Jimmy Fallon reportedly apologized to The Tonight Show staff via Zoom on Thursday, September 7. This incident took place after Rolling Stone made a toxic report on the Jimmy Fallon showwork environment.

14 former workers and two employees continue to share experiences with magazines. They claim the employees are afraid because of the alleged erratic Fallon behavior.

The seven former event employees said it was no new secret that Fallon had a temperamental attitude and treated their staff badly.

"You never know which Jimmy we're going to get and when he's going to hit. Look how many showrunners are going so fast. We know it didn't last long," said one employee.

Rolling Stone reported Fallon and showrunner Chris Miller discussed the report via video call.

"It's embarrassing and I feel bad. Sorry if I embarrass your family and friends... I feel bad I can't explain," said Jimmy Fallon.

The apology was confirmed by Variety. Jimmy Fallon added, "I want this show to be fun. It has to be inclusive for everyone, it has to be funny, it has to be the best show, the best people."

The television channel officially responded to Rolling Stone. NBC says The Tonight Show has a healthy work environment. They also ask employees who feel unpleasant to be able to report to NBC.

"We are very proud of The Tonight Show and provide a work environment that makes mutual respect as a top priority," NBC said.

"We encourage employees who experience inappropriate behavior to report it," he said.

Jimmy Fallon became the host of The Tonight Show in 2014. Fallon became one of the famous presenters in Hollywood.
