Selena Gomez has drawn criticism after uploading a photo on Instagram. The criticism was conveyed because he violated the rules of the actor union that had been on strike for the past few months.

Selena Gomez initially uploaded a photo of herself in a monochrome. She wrote the caption, 'Missing and wanting @onlymurdershulu.'

The photo caption indicates that this photo was taken in the middle of filming the Only Murders in the Building series. Currently, the third season of the series is being broadcast but this photo is considered to have violated the rules of the actor union.

During the SAG-AFTRA strike, actors and writers were not allowed to promote their series or films. The promotion consists of interviews, releasing content, and attending red carpet events, premieres, and so on.

Shortly after uploading the photo, many netizens sent protests because Gomez was deemed indifferent to the ongoing strike. This post was published for 15 hours and liked by one million users before being deleted by Gomez.

Meanwhile, SAG-AFTRA launched an agreement program containing licensing to independent production houses to promote or film shooting processes. The production house A24 continues to produce content after agreeing to the SAG-AFTRA agreement.

Some of the films that continue production are The Assessment, starring Elizabeth Olsen, Daddio, starring Dakota Johnson, Hell of A Summer, played by Finn Wolfhard. Several actors were also approved to attend the film festival as a form of promotion from their latest work.

On the other hand, Selena Gomez is back in the lead in the series Only Murders in the Building season three.

Released on August 8, the series continues the story of Gomez with Steve Martin and Martin Short about the mystery of the case that occurred at their place of residence.
