JAKARTA - Jongho ATEEZ is certain to temporarily stop all activities. He reportedly had leg pain after appearing in Los Angeles on Sunday, August 20 yesterday.

KQ Entertainment as the agency shared this news after ATEEZ appeared at the 2023 LA KCON in Los Angeles, United States. Then, they said Jongho was diagnosed with a broken meniscus after the last leg injury.

"Gratefully, we share Jongho's health news with fans who support ATEEZ. Jongho was diagnosed with a problem with meniscus after injury but because he wanted to keep appearing on stage, he focused on surgery and treatment," said KQ Entertainment.

"However, after this event, Jongho was in pain so we decided to stop his schedule for August 20 and return to Korea for treatment," he said.

The agency said Jongho's health was a priority, so the ATEEZ vocalist would be doing treatment for a while. They also did not mention when Jongho could return to appear with ATEEZ.

"We apologize for the concern over this news, and we will do our best to convince Jongho's recovery, thank you," he said closing the statement.

In 2021, Jongho injured his leg after feeling uncomfortable with his foot movements. At that time, he was still promoting ATEEZ's new album and limiting his appearance.

In addition to appearing at KCON LA 2023, ATEEZ is also scheduled to tour THE FELLOWSHIP: BREAK THE WALL in the United States. The plan, they will go to Mexico for a concert on August 23.

They will also hold concerts until Bogota in early September. This tour is a continuation of the tour after they successfully held concerts in Europe, Southeast Asia, and Japan since 2022.
