JAKARTA - Good news for fans of the Warrior Nun series. This series will return to Netflix in a trilogy film format.
Netflix had canceled the continuation of the Warrior Nun series at the end of 2022. Apart from Warrior Nun, there were several other series that were also canceled by the streaming and drew criticism from fans.
Then, fans with creator Simon Barry created a social media campaign for Netflix to continue the Warrior Nun series. Thanks to fan support, executive producer Dean English announced Warrior Nun will return in the form of a film.
"I have to start by thanking all of you loyal fans. Thanks to you guys and tremendous energy, we can continue to encourage this story," Dean English said in a video uploaded on Tuesday, August 15.
"You guys really make everything worthy. So thank you for your support. I am happy to announce Warrior Nun back as a trilogy. Once again, three trilogy films, three," said English.
