JAKARTA - The Indonesian Funny Council (MLI) launched the video platform FunnyFlix which contains video-based comedy content that loyal followers of stand-up comedians under the auspices of the MLI.
Patrick Effendy as CEO of the Indonesian Funny Council said that the launch of LicuFlix was a follow-up to the success of the MILI Universe which already has 4.5 million subscribers on YouTube.
"So, after running since 2017, the Indonesian Funny Council has finally managed to find out what its fans want. FunnyFlix can be said to be a pivot point from YouTube to digital download," Patrick Effendy said during a press conference fX Sudirman, Central Jakarta, Wednesday, July 5.
Meanwhile, Joshua Suherman as Commissioner of the MLI expressed his enthusiasm. According to him, there are many positive responses to the content presented on the video platform.
"Yesterday, try to spread the FunnyFlix link personally, it's not yet open to the public, the response is positive. Today is launching, hopefully in the future the response will be even more positive," said Joshua.
For the content presented, said Joshua, special shows that have never been broadcast on social media and other platforms, will try to be presented without censorship, be it MLI artists or not.
