Reasons For Indra Bekti Chooses RSPAD To Undergo Further Operations

JAKARTA - Indra Bekti will be undergoing surgery again in the near future. Unlike before, where the 45-year-old presenter was operated on and treated at Abdi Waluyo Hospital, Central Jakarta, now Bekti will undergo surgery at the Central Army Hospital (RSPAD), Central Jakarta.

Cipta, Indra Bekti's brother, confirmed that his brother is currently being treated to prepare himself to undergo surgery again. "Mas Indra is being treated for eye surgery where he says his vision is blurry," Cipta said via text message to the VOI team on Tuesday, February 7, 2023.

Indra Bekti's brother also revealed the reason why the presenter moved to the hospital. "We get advice from family, from close friends as well. In the end, we decided to go to the RSPAD first, hopefully, it will be the same," he said.

Bekti himself is planned to undergo surgery on Thursday, February 9 tomorrow. According to Cipta, there was fluid and blood clots in Bekti's eyeballs which caused his vision to become blurry. And the operation to be carried out to remove the liquid.

Cipta also stated that the family was much calmer in facing Bekti's surgery this time. "Now he is in the hospital not because of a drop, but for further treatment, which is to restore his sight again," he said.

Regarding Bekti, who is currently being treated at the RSPAD, Cipta said his older brother was happy when he learned that there would be quick action to overcome his poor eyesight. The father of two hopes that he will recover as soon as possible and be able to return to his normal activities.

The hospital is currently preparing Bekti in good condition to undergo surgery. “Starting from the heart, blood pressure and blood sugar, everything must be normal. Only after that action can be taken," Cipta concluded.
