Profile Of Tarida Hutauruk: Singer With Beautiful Voice Buried Today

JAKARTA - Sad news came from the Indonesian music industry. Tarida Hutauruk passed away on Thursday, January 19 at 01.02 WIB at PON Cawang Hospital, East Jakarta.

It is not yet known what caused the singer's death, but Martonggo Raja or his traditional Batak procession is planned to be held today, Friday, January 20.

Born on August 1, 1951, Tarida is a member of the Hutauruk Sisters with Rugun and Berlian. The three of them sang various spiritual songs which became legendary hits of their time.

The vocals of the three are known to be very beautiful, so it's no secret that their three names are very popular.

Then in 1984, the three of them started their own solo careers. Tarida also focuses on creating songs for several singers, one of which is Dirimu Satu, which has also become a hit.

Apart from that, she also composed songs for Nur Afni Octavia, Nicky Astria, Neno Warisman, and Berlian Hutauruk which were included in her solo album.

Tarida Hutauruk died at the age of 71 on Thursday, 19 January. The body will be laid to rest at the Sentosa Funeral Home Gatot Soebroto Army Hospital and plans to have a funeral today.
