Rizal Mantovani Gets Newcomer Actress Dinda Ghania In Adagium The Movie

JAKARTA - The movie Adagium, directed by Rizal Mantovani, features a talented young actress, Dinda Ghania. Still in junior high school, acting in feature films was a new experience for her.

Dinda did not deny that she was nervous and insecure when she first met other cast members such as Pangeran Lantang, Jihane Almira, Angga Asyafriena, and many other actors.

"While reading, I met other actors, and it was really nice to meet actors that I liked and could play together. But I became a child myself there, and I started to feel insecure because there are so many actors whose acting is better," said Dinda Ghania when met in the Epicentrum area, South Jakarta, Thursday, January 19.

Feeling insecure about her acting skills, Dinda began to enjoy her experience of being involved in a film project during the shooting process. Unexpectedly, the director, Rizal Mantovani, praised her while acting. After completing the shooting process, Dinda expressed her satisfaction.

"Actually I'm satisfied, because the acting coach and the director, Om Rizal also said (my acting) was good. I also feel more confident and satisfied,“ she said.

Apart from playing in the film Adagium, Dinda said she was also involved in three other films. However, she still doesn't want to reveal the title and details of the film.

Apart from acting, Dinda has also tried singing. She has worked with several well-known Indonesian musicians, such as Andra Ramadhan (Dewa 19) and Melly Goeslaw.

Together with Andra, she remade the song Sempurna in 2020. Then with Melly, Dinda collaborated on the song Kamu Bukan Sejarah.

In the film Adagium, Dinda Ghania plays Almira, the younger sister of Arga, played by Angga Asyafriena. Most of Dinda's appearances in this film are scenes where she acts together with Angga.

Apart from the two actors above, Adagium also stars Jihan Elmira, Pangeran Lantang, Rizky Hanggono, Dennis Adhiswara, Teuku Rifnu Wikana, Mike Lucock, Max Matino, Dinda Ghania, Hans De Kraker, Ricky Saldan, Gilbert Pattiruhu and Frans Mohede.

The Adagium film will be shown simultaneously in cinemas throughout Indonesia on January 26, 2023.
