Sitting with GLAAD, Braunwyn discussed his decision to reveal the most important decisions in his life.

“This is something that I think everyone knows has arrived, but finally I'm comfortable enough to say - I love women. I'm gay. You know, I'm a member of the LGBTQIA + community. I'm a lesbian, "she shared.

"And it took me forty-two years to say that, but I am very proud of where I am and I am very happy with where I am now. To be comfortable in my own skin after all this time is great. "

When asked why he felt now was the right time to come clean, he replied that it was after scenes from last season and interactions with the producers of Real Housewives of Orange County that made him reflect on this.
