2 COVID-19 Members, NCT Dream Sold Out Concert Cancels

JAKARTA - NCT Dream has certainly canceled The Dream Show concert which was held at Gocheok Sky Dome, South Korea on July 29 to 31, 2022. This news was confirmed by the SM Entertainment agency through a statement.

“We are announcing NCT DREAM's solo concert, THE DREAM SHOW 2: In A Dream which was scheduled to be cancelled. Although all NCT Dream members and staff are working hard to prepare for the concert according to fans' wishes, we regret to make this decision," said SM Entertainment in a statement on Wednesday, July 27.

"With the current situation, we can't give the best concerts so we ask for fans' understanding," he said.

As a result, tickets that have been sold out will be refunded in the near future. The concert was canceled after two NCT Dream members were diagnosed with COVID-19.

Initially, Mark tested positive for COVID-19 and the agency decided to continue with the six-member concert. However, the decision changed after Renjun also had COVID-19 on Wednesday, July 27.

"Renjun tested positive for COVID-19 today (July 27). Renjun felt symptoms and underwent a PCR test. He tested positive for COVID-19," the agency statement.

The agency also makes the health of NCT Dream members a top priority so they hope that this decision can be accepted by fans.

"Our agency continues to follow the rules from the medical side. We will prioritize the health and safety of our artists, and do our best to help our artists recover," concluded SM Entertainment.

Until now, the names Renjun and Mark became the topic of conversation. The group members also wrote messages for fans who were disappointed by the cancellation of this concert.
