Argentina 2025 MotoGP FP1 Results: Fastest Marc Marquez

JAKARTA - Marc Marquez started the 2025 Argentine MotoGP weekend at Termas de Rio Hondo nicely. He won the fastest time to continue his brilliant performance in the first series of the 2025 Thailand MotoGP.

Free Practice 1 (FP1) is always expected to be a wasted session because of conditions that are usually dusty and dirty. However, last night's rain made the Argentine MotoGP since 2023 even more mysterious.

Meanwhile, Zarco was only 0.026 seconds adrift. Then, Thailand's 2025 MotoGP runners-up, Alex Marquez (Gresini Ducati), again performed brilliantly to be in third place FP1.

Franco Morbidelli of VR46 Ducati is in fourth place followed by MotoGP winner Argentina 2023, Marco Bezzecchi (Aprilia), who appears at the top.

Luca Marini supports a strong start for Honda in sixth place. Jack Miller of Pramac is back at the top in Yamaha by finishing seventh.

Marquez's slick appearance was not followed by his teammate, Francesco Bagnaia, who had never been on the podium at Termas de Rio Hondo. He started the weekend behind in 16th position.

All drivers use soft compon front tires and medium rear tires.

There is no more rain expected today. If the track is completely dry, FP2 could determine the top 10 by direct access to Qualification 2 (Q2).

World defending champion Jorge Martin is still absent due to a left wrist injury due to a pre-season practice accident - following an injury to his right hand and left leg on the opening day of the Sepang test - and was again replaced by Aprilia test rider Lorenzo Savadori.
