Bank Indonesia Says It Has Made Various Improvements On BI Smart Sites

JAKARTA - Executive Director of the Communication Department of Bank Indonesia (BI), Ramdan Denny Prakoso, said that based on previous experience, BI had made various improvements to the rupiah currency exchange service site, namely on the smart.bi.go.id page.

Denny hopes that in the next period, the public can register through the rupiah currency exchange service on the following Saturday and Sunday well and smoothly.

"BI has made various kinds of improvements and we hope that in the next period, on Sunday, Saturday, Sunday, registration through Smart can be done better, smoother, and of course it can also provide maximum benefits for the exchangers, hopefully," he said Friday, March 14.

Previously, Bank Indonesia had prepared distribution-worthy money (ULE) of IDR 180.9 trillion to meet the needs of the community during the Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr periods.

In addition to ULE, the public can take advantage of the development of digital payment transactions through mobile and internet banking, as well as QRIS for various payment needs.

Deputy Governor of BI, Doni P. Joewono said, BI always strives to improve the quality of the Semarak Rupiah Ramadan and Berkah Idulfitri (SERAMBI) program every year.

This year, Doni conveyed that the Rupiah currency exchange service optimizes the use of the Rupiah Exchange and Withdrawal application (PINTAR), including for access to exchange services at banking counters.

Therefore, Doni conveyed that the use of the PINTAR application is expected to increase service certainty and reduce queues/densities at exchange locations for convenience and convenience for the community.

"The use of the PINTAR application is also expected to increase efficiency with a more equitable and direct distribution to the public," he said in his statement, Monday, March 3.

Doni explained that the public can exchange Rupiah money in strategic locations such as houses of worship, places of religious activity, and public bank offices.
