JAKARTA - PT Bank Ina Perdana Tbk (BINA) posted a significant performance growth in the first half of 2021. The banking company owned by conglomerate Anthony Salim managed to record a profit of Rp23.17 billion in the first six months of this year.

In Bank Ina's disclosure of information on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) website, quoted on Monday, September 27, the profit soared 767.79 percent year on year (yoy). In the same period last year, its profit was Rp. 2.67 billion.

Bank Ina's profit growth was driven by net interest income of Rp. 109 billion, up 30 percent yoy. Bank Ina also recorded a profit from the sale of financial assets of Rp48.69 billion in the first semester of 2021.
