Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry In East Nusa Tenggara Supports Arsjad Rasjid Subsidiary Of The Conglomerate Agus Lasmono Sudwikatmono As The Chairman

JAKARTA - The Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) has declared support for the Deputy Chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the Development of National Entrepreneurs Arsjad Rasjid to advance to become the General Chairperson (Ketum) of the National Kadin 2021-2026.

Chairman of the NTT Kadin Paul Lianto told reporters after the declaration of support for Asrjad in Kupang, Wednesday night, saying that his support for Arsjad was carried out after his party held a joint meeting to assess the vision and mission of the two candidates for Chairman of the National Kadin which will be determined at the National Conference on June 30, 2021.

"Why do we only decide now on the last day of registration? Because I want to first assess the vision and mission of Pak Arsjad", he said, quoted from Antara, Thursday, June 24.

According to him, Arsjad has a vision and mission that will embrace all entrepreneurs to improve the Indonesian economy, especially in the regions.

One of the work programs of the Indika Energy President Director is that Kadin is a shareholder for the regions themselves. This is in line with the expectations of the government which expects foreign investors to cooperate with regional investors to carry out development.

The declaration process of the NTT Kadin supporting Arsjad Rasjid was carried out in the presence of the Minister of Investment and the Head of Capital Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) Bahlil Lahadalia and witnessed also by the Deputy Governor of NTT Josef Nae Soi.

Meanwhile, Arsjad Rasjid thanked the NTT Kadin for the support given to him and hoped that all his hopes for advancing the business world could be realized.

"His prayer was answered. But the second time I came here the purpose was so that the NTT Kadin could get to know me, and find out whether my vision and mission are in line with theirs", he added.

In his speech, Arsjad also presented a short video about his investment in the tourism sector in Labuan Bajo. This is according to his promise during his visit to NTT on May 23, 2021.

He said that he would continue to invest in NTT even though he would not be elected because according to him NTT is an area that has potential that can be developed.
