Expansion Of Reach In Indonesia, BYD Holds This Exhibition Again In Medan And Semarang

PT BYD Motor Indonesia is again holding an exhibition 'Mall to Mall' to expand the reach of this brand from China in the Indonesian automotive market.

After successfully attracting attention in big cities such as Jakarta, Bandung, and Makassar since January 2024, now is the time for Medan and Semarang to experience the sophistication of technology and innovation of BYD electric vehicles through exhibitions that take place from November 14 to 17, 2024 simultaneously.

"The positive enthusiasm shown by the public during the previous exhibition has encouraged us to continue to expand our reach in Indonesia. By choosing the cities of Medan and Semarang, we believe that these two cities have great potential in adopting environmentally friendly vehicles, bringing electric vehicle innovation closer to consumers in both North Sumatra and Central Java," said PT BYD Motor Indonesia Public & Government Relations, in an official statement received, Friday, November 15.

The mall to Mall exhibition is also a clear proof of BYD's commitment to introducing sustainable electric vehicle technology in more areas, as well as providing direct access to the public to better recognize modern mobility solutions.

The BYD exhibition in Medan City was held at Deli Park Podomoro Mall, with a booth covering an area of 388.45 m2 uniquely designed according to local characteristics. Here, visitors can see firsthand several combinations of BYD electric vehicle units, namely 2 units of BYD M6, 1 unit of BYD SEAL, 1 unit of BYD ATTO 3, and 1 unit of BYD DOLPHIN. In addition to displaying products, this exhibition also features test drive sessions with BYD DOLPHIN, BYD SEAL, BYD M6, and BYD ATTO 3, which are designed to provide direct driving experience with the performance and comfort of a typical BYD electric car.

Meanwhile, in Semarang City, the exhibition was held at Paragon Mall with a booth area of up to 300 m square, which was also designed with a modern concept that reflects the dynamics of the city. The presence of BYD in Semarang City is a continuation of the successful participation of BYD Indonesia in GIIAS Semarang at the end of October 2024, providing closer opportunities for visitors who have not explored BYD vehicle technology in the last GIIAS event.
