Deputy President Director of Pertamina Patra Niaga Achmad Muchtasyar stated that Pertamina Patra Niaga together with the Aceh Government accelerated the recovery of fuel distribution services (BBM) in Aceh after the flood and landslide disaster in a number of areas.
One of them is by conducting a direct review of the Krueng Raya Fuel Terminal (FT) which acts as a strategic supply point for Pidie Jaya, Pidie, and Bireuen, whose distribution is temporarily diverted from the Lhokseumawe Integrated Terminal (IT).
He revealed that supply strengthening continues to be carried out with all modes of transportation such as from the sea route, through the delivery of 9 tanks loaded with LPG 15 metric tons (MT), fuel for heavy equipment needs as much as 24 kiloliters (KL), as well as 4 additional fuel tanker cars to strengthen distribution.
Achmad emphasized that Pertamina Patra Niaga has prepared various strategic steps, both those that have been running and those that are being accelerated, to accelerate the recovery of the distribution of fuel and LPG.
In addition, for areas that are still isolated due to land access that have not fully recovered, Pertamina Patra Niaga also maximizes shipments by air.
"The delivery of fuel to Central Aceh and Bener Meriah has been carried out using pioneer planes and currently, fuel distribution will also continue to be optimized using Hercules planes and pioneers to accelerate supply to difficult-to-reach areas," he explained, quoted from ANTARA, Saturday, December 6.

Furthermore, Achmad also expressed his appreciation to all parties who have helped accelerate the recovery of energy distribution in Aceh.
He said that cross-agency support plays an important role in ensuring that distribution runs faster.
"We are grateful to the Government of Aceh and KSOP (Kesyahbandaran and Port Authority) Batam for their very significant support in the operation of two Aceh Hebat ships as well as passenger and freight transport vessels from Batam carrying LPG tankers," he said.
He said the support was an important part of accelerating the addition of LPG supplies in Aceh.
Achmad emphasized that Pertamina Patra Niaga will continue to strengthen coordination with the Aceh Government and all stakeholders, ensure that supply and services at public refueling stations (SPBU) remain optimal and the acceleration of distribution to affected areas will run better.
"Efforts to accelerate distribution are carried out thoroughly, both in urban areas and in areas directly affected by disasters. With the cooperation of all parties, we hope that the distribution process will run smoothly, especially in areas that are facing access challenges," he said.
