PT KJL Participates In CSR For The 54th Anniversary Of Krakatau Steel

JAKARTA - In commemoration of the anniversary of PT Krakatau Steel (Persero) the 54th Tbk (KS) which falls on August 31, 2024, PT. Krakatau Jasa logistical (KJL) which is part of Krakatau Steel Group (KS Group), participated in the implementation of corporate responsibility activities (CSR) carried out by the parent company, PT Krakatau Steel (Persero) Tbk in the form of procurement of clean water facilities and procurement of the Saung Sehat Baduy Clinic.

"(CSR activities) are routinely carried out by KS Group as an effort to provide benefits to the community around the working area of all KS Group entities," said Asep Siswanto as President Director of PT. KJL through an official statement received, Sunday 15 September.

The procurement of clean water facilities is carried out in Grogol, Cilegon, Banten sub-districts. The reason is, this area is one of the areas affected by drought considering the prolonged summer.

The procurement of the Saung Sehat Baduy Clinic is mainly intended for the people of the Baduy interior who find it very difficult to reach treatment facilities due to their natural and environmental conditions.

Previously, KJL had also carried out CSR activities in the form of procuring clean water drilling in the Salafy Ar Risalah Islamic Boarding School in Warnasari District, Cilegon, Banten.

"KJL is committed to always being present and contributing not only to stakeholders but also to the surrounding community," he said.

KJL is a KS Group business entity in the logistics sector which is directly integrated with the port industry owned by its direct parent company, PT Krakatau Bandar Samudera (KBS).
