The Capital Authority of the Archipelago (OIKN) noted that the interest of private investors to enter IKN is quite high.

In total there are 61 interest in investment through letter of intent (LoI) with a value of IDR 80.4 trillion which is currently under discussion.

The 61 LoIs consist of investment interests of local and foreign private companies.

"There are still 61 (LoI) in the process. This is a total of around Rp. 80.4 trillion," said Raja Juli, quoted on Tuesday, September 10.

Raja Juli mengatakan, jumlah tersebut terdiri dari investasi langsung sebesar Rp49,3 triliun, kemudian ada yang berupa Public Private Partnership (PPP) atau Kerjasama Pemerintah Dengan Badan Usaha (KPBU) sebesar Rp30,9 triliun.

"Including foreign (investors) around Rp. 21.4 trillion," he said.

He added that to date, seven times the laying of the first stone or groundbreaking of private investors in IKN has been carried out. A total of 31 investors have started their project work with a value of Rp56.83 trillion.

"So, of the 31 that have been groundbreaking, the total is Rp56.83 trillion," he said.

In addition, this September, the 8th phase of the groundbreaking will be held at IKN.

Even so, Raja Juli has not been able to confirm how many private investors will groundbreaking at IKN this month.

It is estimated that the number has reached 6-8 investors, including the two foreign investors.

Meanwhile, when asked about the certainty of the groundbreaking date, Raja Juli could not confirm it.

According to him, the groundbreaking will be carried out when President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) starts based at IKN.

"Not yet, it is being matched with the president (schedule). Yes, approximately after the President (Jokowi) will be there. God willing, Thursday morning he will depart," he said.
