During The Government Transition Period, Puan Expressed The Preparation Of The 2025 RAPBN Special

Chairman of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR) Puan Maharani said the Draft Law on the State Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBN) for Fiscal Year 2025 is in the transition period of government, so the preparation is also special.

This is regulated in Law No. 17 of 2007 concerning the 2005 2025 National Long-Term Development Plan, namely the President who is ruling in the last year his government is required to prepare a Government Work Plan (RKP) for the first year of the next Presidential Government period.

Therefore, Puan said that the President-elect for the next period still has ample space to improve the Government Work Plan (RKP) and the APBN in the first year of his government through the mechanism for changing the APBN (APBN-P).

"The year 2025 is the first year of a new government so that the new government has programs that have to be run since its first year," he said at the Opening of the First Session Period of the DPR RI for the 2024-2025 Session Year, Friday, August 16.

Therefore, Puan conveyed that in the Discussion of the Macroeconomic Framework and the Principles of Fiscal Policy (KEM PPKF) for the 2025 State Budget, the Indonesian House of Representatives and the Government agreed to continue to provide the widest possible space for the Government to carry out its work program in 2025.

"The DPR RI together with the Government have discussed and agreed on Macroeconomic Policy and the Principles of Fiscal Policy for the State Budget for Fiscal Year 2025, which is the basis for the preparation of the Financial Note and the 2025 RAPBN Bill along with the Financial Note," he explained.
