Director of Commerce and Exploration Development, PT Geo Dipa Energi Ilen Kardani said that the company has on average paid a deposit to the state treasury of approximately Rp. 200 billion per year.
However, he emphasized that Geo Dipa Energi's contribution to the government varies annually.
"For the illustration, this year (2023) we provide deposits to the state of approximately Rp. 200 billion. It fluctuates, but more or less like that because the activity of the number of productions per year fluctuates. In addition, Ilen explained that Geo Dipa has succeeded in producing electricity from PLTP Patuha reaching 4 million Kilowatt Hours (KWh) since it was first produced or around 42 gigawatt hour (GWh) per month.
The highest production achieved by Geo Dipa Energi in all PLTP owned will occur in 2023 with an achievement of up to 498 GWh.
Meanwhile, the Director General of State Assets of the Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) Rionald Silaban said that in the last few years PT GDE had contributed dividends to the government.
