Indosat Holds Indonesia AI Day 2024: Create Indonesia's AI Sovereignty

JAKARTA - Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison (Indosat or IOH) will hold an Indonesia AI Day 2024, which will take place on November 14 at The Tribrata Hotel and Convention Center, Jakarta.

Raising the theme "Unleashing Indonesia's AI Sovereignty," Indosat said that this event was created to support AI sovereignty in Indonesia, by presenting prominent AI figures.

Major speakers such as NVIDIA Founder and CEO, Jensen Huang, and Chair and CEO of Accenture, Julie Sweet, will share visionary insights into Indonesia's path to AI Sovereignty and AI's great opportunity for the country's digital economy.

The main stage will also be filled by important Indonesian figures, such as the Minister of Communication and Digital Affairs (Komdigi), Meutya Hafid, Minister of SOEs, Erick Thohir, and Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Research, and Technology, Stella Christie, who will share insights into AI's role in achieving digital independence, economic resilience, and Indonesian technology growth.

In addition, AI practitioners including researchers, developers, and leading engineers from various universities will also share their knowledge, strengthening Indonesia's vision for an AI-based future on the world stage.
