Beware Of Traffic Jams, There Are Repairs To The Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road Until August 4, 2024

PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) reconstructed the Jakarta-Cikampek (Japek) toll road to Jakarta to increase the comfort of road users and efforts to meet the minimum service standards of Toll Road Business Entities.

Senior Manager of Representative Office 1 PT Jasamarga Transjawa Amri Sanusi Toll Road said the road repair work on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road towards Jakarta was carried out on the Main Kalihurip 'On Ramp' and lanes 1 and 2 km 26 + 781 to km 26 + 676.

"The work has been carried out starting Monday, July 29 morning. The Kalihurip point is scheduled until Friday while km 26 is completed on Sunday, August 4. Both are heading to Jakarta," Amri Sanusi said as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, July 30.

He said PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol had prepared to divert the flow of traffic that was affected before the work area, narrow the work area, and prepare the counter-direction scheme if the traffic conditions were congested.

"We are also coordinating intensively with the Highway Patrol Police and PT Jasamarga Tollroad Operators in terms of traffic control during the work," he said.

PT JTT has also socialized work plans by posting job appeal banners and Dynamic Message Signs in both directions of the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road to ensure this information is well received by road users.

He apologized for the inconvenience caused by the existence of the work as well as appealed to road users to anticipate travel by ensuring that the vehicle was in prime condition, had sufficient electronic money balance, and refueled before starting the trip.

"Always obey the travel requirements according to government regulations and be careful and obey signs, especially around the work location," he said.
