BPH Migas Guarantees Fuel Supply Is Ready To Support All International Events In Bali

JAKARTA - The Downstream Oil and Gas Regulatory Agency (BPH Migas) ensures that the supply and distribution of fuel oil (BBM) is ready to support a number of international events, which will be held in Bali.

Member of the BPH Migas Committee Basuki Trikora Putra in his statement in Jakarta, Saturday, said that Bali is a tourist destination and is a place for national to international events.

According to him, so that all activities run smoothly, it is necessary to guarantee the supply of fuel, either certain types of fuel (JBT) or diesel, special types of fuel for assignments (JBKP) or Pertalite, types of general fuel (JBU), or avtur.

"Bali is the homepage for the availability of fuel, because apart from tourist destinations it is also the location of national and international scale events. BPH Migas hopes that PT Pertamina Patra Niaga will maintain the best supply and distribution of fuel," said the man who is often called Tiko quoting Antara.

Based on the results of his visit, Tiko conveyed that the availability and distribution of fuel to meet the needs of the community and other activities were going well.

"According to field monitoring, fuel supply and distribution in Bali will run smoothly. There are still many international events to be held in Bali until the end of 2024. We want to ensure that the supply of fuel including aviation fuel is quite available at I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport. Hopefully Bali can still receive international guests for large-scale tourist destinations and activities," he continued.

One of the international events in Bali in the near future is the Bali International Airshow, which is a world-scale exhibition of aviation products and technology, which will be held on 18-21 September 2024.

Meanwhile, during a series of working visits in Bali, Tiko also monitored the provision and distribution of subsidized fuel and compensation to several gas stations in the Denpasar and Gianyar areas.

"We ensure that the availability and distribution of fuel is sufficient and the distribution goes well," he said.

Tiko also reminded gas stations to maintain the reliability of facilities and facilities, uphold oil and gas safety, improve services, and maintain administrative order regarding consumers using JBT and JBKP.

Moreover, currently, the list of JBKP or Pertalite user vehicles is being recorded.

"Our message is that the recording of consumers using Pertalite is carried out persuasively. The important thing is that Pertamina Patra Niaga has collected data to see what Pertalite consumers are like," he explained.

Sales Area Manager of Pertamina Patra Niaga Bali Region Endo Eko Satryo said the fuel stock to support various community needs including national and international events in Bali was sufficient.

"God willing, from Pertamina, the stock of JBT, JBKP, and avtur will be ready to support all activities," he said.

Regarding the data collection of JBKP consumers as an effort to make subsidized fuel right on target, Endo revealed that his party always conducts socialization to the community and other stakeholders.
