JAKARTA - The Land Bank Agency supports the acceleration of the construction of VVIP Airport in the capital city of Nusantara (IKN) by preparing additional land to 621 hectares (ha).

Head of the Land Bank Agency, Parman Natamatmadja, said that the expansion of the land for IKN VVIP Airport was clean and clear. This means that the land parcel is not in trouble.

"So, four land management rights (HPL) have been given to the Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub) and recorded as state property assets (BMN) of the Ministry of Transportation. So, we have given the land to the Ministry of Transportation. It is clean and clear for airports," said Parman when met at the Pullman Hotel, Jakarta, Wednesday, June 26.

Parman said that the completion of land acquisition through the Social Impact Management (PSDK) scheme had been carried out by the Acting Regent of North Penajam Paser Makmur Marbun.

"The PDSK has also been given (by) the Regent (Makmur Marbun). So, it's finished. It's just a matter of accelerating the construction," he said.

He added that until now Bank Tanah has managed 18,000 ha of land in almost all regencies/cities of Indonesia. The land management by Bank Tanah in the Penajam Paser Utara area has only reached 1,000 ha.

According to Parman, the management of land by his party is still relatively small. This is because the Land Bank itself has only been around for 2.5 years. "Because it has only been 2.5 years for us, (land management) is only 18,000 ha," he said.

For your information, the Land Bank Agency first prepared 290 ha land for the construction needs of IKN VVIP Airport, then the central government increased the airport area to 347 ha.

Furthermore, the central government expanded the VVIP Airport area again to 621 ha. Thus, the Land Bank Agency has again prepared 274 ha additional land for the construction of the airport.

The land for the construction of VVIP Airport, which is currently 621 ha, is located in two areas, namely Lango Beach Village and Gersik Village in North Penajam Paser Regency.
