Anticipating Traffic Density Towards Trans Java During Lebaran Homecoming, Jasa Marga Implements One Way

Traffic engineering is enforced starting from GT Cikampek Utama (doc Jasa Marga).

PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) has imposed a local one way traffic engineering from KM 421 Semarang Toll Road Section A, B, C with KM 442 Toll Gate (GT) Bawen Semarang-Solo toll road on Saturday, April 6, 2024.

The implementation of the one-way traffic engineering began at 15.45 WIB on discretion from the police. This was done to anticipate the potential for traffic congestion towards Trans Java.

"Then, it was continued with an extension of one way from KM 414 GT Kalikangkung to the Batang-Semarang to KM 442 GT Bawen toll road section Semarang-Solo at 16.08 WIB."

"Until now, the volume of traffic heading east or the Trans Java Toll Road has been monitored to increase and one way is being implemented continuously from KM 70 GT Cikampek Utama toll roads from Jakarta-Cikampek to KM 442 toll gates. The implementation of traffic engineering refers to CCTV visual monitoring and reports from police officers in the field as well as Joint Decree (SKB) of the Director General of Land Transportation of the Ministry of Transportation, Police Headquarters, and Director General of Highways on March 5, 2024 concerning Road Traffic Regulation and Crossing During the Homecoming and Backflow Period of Eid Transportation in 2024/1445 Hijri.

For your information, PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk (JSMR) recorded 551,876 vehicles leaving the Jabotabek area on D-7 to D-5 Idulfitri 1445 Hijri or on Wednesday-Friday, 3-5 April 2024.
