This Chinese Car Manufacturer Will Groundbreaking In Indonesia July 2024

JAKARTA - Electric car manufacturer from China, BYD is said to be groundbreaking in 2024.

This was revealed by the Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment (Menko Marves) Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan in an upload on his Instagram account, Sealsa, March 19.

"ByD will enter. Now it will also be groundbreaking in July as well as all of that," Luhut said as quoted on Tuesday, March 19.

Luhut also ensured that the electric vehicle manufacturer would be supported by a qualified electric vehicle ecosystem. In fact, he said, he would ensure that all Ministries and Institutions (K/L) in all must install charging stations for electric vehicles.

Thus, on Eid al-Fitr later, travelers who use electric vehicles will have no trouble finding charging stations.

"We make sure that if people ride a car or motorbike from here to Surabaya, they have a charger station on the way," said Luhut.

In addition to requiring ministries and institutions, Luhut said the government would also encourage the use of electric vehicles for the general public by providing a number of incentives.

"So we will encourage our community to use as many cars or electric motorbikes as possible. Of course we have given incentives everywhere," concluded Luhut.
