Smart Aviation Supports Strengthening The Indonesian Aviation Industry

JAKARTA - PT Smart Cakrawala Aviation (Smart Aviation), a non-scheduled commercial air transportation service company, supports the strengthening of the country's aviation industry through the purchase of five new aircraft units to reach Indonesia's outermost regions to the fullest.

"This step aims to provide optimal support to the government in realizing economic equity, especially in the outermost regions," said Smart Aviation Founder & CEO Pongky Majaya, quoted from Antara, Thursday, March 7.

Pongky revealed that the type of aircraft chosen by Smart Aviation has technology that can be used according to the needs of Smart Aviation operational areas, especially in meeting demands in several areas that have high-pressure regional contours such as the Papuan mountains.

As for the details of the five units, namely four Caravan c208ex units and one Sky Courier c408 unit with a new condition from Textron Inc.

Later, he said, these planes will be supporting in providing efficient and reliable air transportation services in various destinations in Indonesia.

"We are very enthusiastic to see the impact of transformation through our fleet in connecting and encouraging progress in Indonesia and its surroundings," said Pongky.

For information, on Friday, January 26, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation of the Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub) reported that 15 pioneering flight routes in Nabire, Central Papua, had been operating.
