The North Penajam Paser APBD Next Year Is Prioritized For Health And Education

PENAJAM PASER UTARA - Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD) 2025 North Penajam Paser Regency, East Kalimantan Province, prioritizes the health and education sectors in an effort to increase human resources (HR) in the Benuo Taka area.

Programs included in the 2025 APBD, explained the Regional Secretary of the North Penajam Paser Regency Government, Tohar in Penajam, Saturday, the health and education sector remains a priority.

The program for receiving due assistance (PBI) for the APBD for the participation of BPJS Kesehatan for the community, he continued, was not accommodated that the State Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBN) would still be implemented in 2025.

The BPJS membership APBD PBI program from the North Penajam Paser Regency APBD is intended for people who have a regency identity card (KTP) regardless of economic status.

"The funds allocated for the 2025 BPJS Health APBD are still the same as the amount in 2024, which is around Rp. 34 billion," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, November 16.

The North Penajam Paser Regency Government is also committed to the 2025 APBD to improve educational infrastructure, by adding classrooms, as well as tables and chairs for teaching and learning activities in schools.

"Many elementary schools (SD) and junior high schools (SMP) still lack chairs and tables, as well as RKB," he said.

"There are a number of RKB developments that have not been completed, the work will continue in 2025," he said.

The district government remains committed to programming scholarships for underprivileged residents, scholarships for achievement and scholarships for final study completion for final year students, he said, but the amount of the back cost assistance budget is still under discussion.

"The 2025 APBD Draft in North Penajam Paser Regency is projected to be around IDR 2.851 trillion," said Tohar.
