He detailed that there were 15,331 passengers departing from SHIAM to various countries and 13,821 people arriving in Makassar, South Sulawesi.

The total for international passengers is 29,152 people.

"In January, 15,331 people were compared to 10,737 or experienced an increase of 42.79 percent. Meanwhile, 13,821 people came in January compared to 12,467 people, an increase of 10.86 percent. This is an increase month to month," he said.

General Manager of SHIAM International Airport Taochid Purnomo Hadi said throughout 2023 there were 10,541,421 passengers arriving or departing.
