BRI Distributes Dividends Worth IDR 319 Per Share Sheet

JAKARTA - PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) decided to distribute cash dividends of IDR 319 per share from the profit for the 2023 financial year which was recorded at IDR 60.43 trillion.

The dividend distribution was decided at the BRI Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) for the 2023 Fiscal Year which was held on Friday, March 1.

"The use of consolidated net profit attributable to owners of the parent entity for 2023 is 80 percent or at least Rp. 48.1 trillion or Rp. 319 per share. That's the dividend given in cash," said BRI President Director Sunarso in a virtual press conference, Friday, March 1.

The details, continued Sunarso, are dividends distributed to the state amounting to Rp25.71 trillion. He said the amount was included in the interim dividend distributed to the state on January 18, 2024, amounting to Rp6.77 trillion.

"Thus, the remaining cash dividend that will be paid to the state is IDR 18.94 trillion which is deposited into the state treasury account," he said.

Meanwhile, the dividends distributed to public shareholders were IDR 22.38 trillion. This amount also includes interim dividends distributed to the public on January 18, 2024, amounting to IDR 5.89 trillion.

Thus, continued Sunarso, the remaining cash dividends to be paid to the public are at least Rp. 16.49 trillion.

"This will be paid to public shareholders in accordance with their respective holdings," he explained.
