How Gibran Grows Sense Of Belonging From Village Communities

Vice Presidential Candidate (Cawapres) number 2, Gibran Rakabuming Raka said the crowdfunding system could be a solution so that rural communities do not leave the village or seek work in the city.

With a crowdfunding system, said Gibran, the community work hand in hand to work together to build their village. That way, the sense of belonging of the village community can grow.

"Tourism villages are built with crowdfunding, so rural communities have shares in what tourist destinations were," he said in a debate quoted from the Indonesian KPU YouTube, Sunday, January 21.

"So this is one of the good examples of how to prevent rural communities from leaving the village or looking for work in the city. We build a sense of belonging," he continued.

Gibran also mentioned the village in Mojokerto, East Java as a national pilot. He said, this village managed to become a tourist village.

"Here the problem is how we can create a sense of belonging from the village community. I've been to Mojokerto where there is a village, the number one tourist village in Indonesia yesterday received an award from (Menparekraf) Pak Sandiaga Uno," he said.
