Government Approves Additional PMN For Several SOEs

JAKARTA - The government has approved to add state capital participation (PMN) to several State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN). This is in line with the issuance of several Government Regulations (PP) related to the additional PMN.

First, the government provides additional PMN to PT Hutama Karya amounting to Rp28.88 trillion based on PP Number 55 of 2023.

The additional PMN will be used to improve the capital structure and increase Hutama Karya's business capacity in order to continue the implementation of the assignment to accelerate development.

In addition, the government also provided additional PMN to PT Pertamina amounting to Rp3.37 trillion, based on PP Number 48 of 2023.

The addition of PMN comes from the transfer of state property (BMN) to the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, which is procured from the 2009 State Budget, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017.

Then, the government also provided additional PMN to PT Bahana Pembinaan Usaha Indonesia worth IDR 3 trillion sourced from the 2023 State Budget. This is stated in PP Number 60 of 2023.

Meanwhile, the addition of PMN was further continued entirely to increase the capital participation of the Company (Persero) PT Bahana Pembinaan Usaha Indonesia into the share capital of PT Asuransi Jiwa IFG.

Furthermore, Jokowi also disbursed additional PMN to PT Sarana Multigriya Finansial (SMF) worth IDR 1.53 trillion based on Government Regulation Number 56 of 2023.

The addition of PMN is used to improve the capital structure and increase SMF's business capacity in order to build and develop the housing secondary financing market.

Next, PT LEN Industri also received additional PMN from the government worth IDR 1.75 trillion from the 2023 State Budget. This is stated in Government Regulation Number 62 of 2023.

In addition, in PP Number 63 of 2023, PT LEN Industri also received additional PMN of IDR 456.25 billion, sourced from the 2023 State Budget through conversion of principal state receivables in the form of a Subsidyary Loan Agreement (SLA) and Investment Fund Account (RDI).

Then, the government also provided additional PMN to PT Aviasi Wisata Indonesia amounting to Rp798.81 billion based on Government Regulation Number 57 of 2023.

This injection aims to improve the capital structure and increase the company's business capacity. As well as the addition of PMN comes from the transfer of state property (BMN) to the Ministry of Transportation at Kertajati Airport, West Java, which is procured from the 2014, 2015 and 2017 State Budgets.

Furthermore, the government approved an injection of PMN to the Perum of the Indonesian Aviation Navigation Service Operators (LPPNPI/Airnav Indonesia) worth IDR 659.19 billion based on PP Number 61 of 2023.

The injection aims to improve the capital structure and increase the company's business capacity.

In addition, Jokowi gave additional PMN to PT Brantas Abipraya worth IDR 211.98 billion based on Government Regulation Number 59 of 2023.

Meanwhile, the addition of PMN came from the transfer of BMN to the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing, which was sourced from the State Budget for the Fiscal Years 1973/1974 and 1975/1976.
