Head Of HLN-78 Asian Enlit Organizers 2023 Hands Over Tropical Host Enlit Asia 2024 To Malaysia

JAKARTA - The 78th National Electricity Day - Asian Enlit 2023 will last until November 16, 2023 at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE), BSD City, Tangerang.

After Indonesia, which is the host for the organizers of this international standard event, the 2024 Asian Enlit will be given to Malaysia next year. Secretary General of the Indonesian Electricity Society & Chief Executive of HLN78 - Mrs. Arsyadany G Akmalaputri symbolically handed over the Asian Enlit trophy to the acting CEO of MyCEB Zain Azrai bin Rashid as the host of Enlit Asia 2024 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The handover of this awarding trophy was carried out at the Enlit Asia booth on November 14, 2023.

Secretary General of the Indonesian Electricity Society & Chief Executive of HLN78, Arsyadany G Akmalaputri said, currently is a moment of collaboration to face the energy transition, Indonesia, in this case PLN cannot do it alone and this is the best moment.

"Hopefully next year's Asian Environment in Malaysia can be as successful as in Indonesia. Of course, Indonesia will also join in the 2024 Asian Enlit and MKI as the largest association in Indonesia will represent it," he said.

Acting CEO of MyCEB Zain Azrai bin Rashid said his party welcomed the 2024 Asian Environment in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

"Hopefully this event can also bring more international participants to Malaysia and continue efforts in terms of sustainability and renewable energy in Malaysia," he explained.

Enlit Asia is an annual conference and exhibition that brings together two major events in the electricity and energy sector, namely POWERGEN Asia and Asian Utility Week. This event is a platform for electric and energy industry players to show innovative solutions, services and products that are in line with the low-carbon energy strategy in Asia.

This event involved all stakeholders in the field of electricity in the ASEAN region with more than 350 excavators, ranging from technology providers, investors with high commitment to clean energy, contractors and technical consultants, as well as power generation operators. With the gathering of all players in the electricity sector, this event is expected to contribute greatly to strengthening and accelerating energy transitions in the ASEAN region, especially in Indonesia.
