Anies: We Want Jakarta To Get Hotter

JAKARTA - Former Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan, asked the public to take care of each other from all forms of fraud in the 2024 Regional Head Election (Pilkada) contestation. So, this method can create a more lit Jakarta.

"I am sure that in such a way, then Jakarta will be better off if we want Jakarta to be more lit up," Anies told reporters, Wednesday, November 27.

Taking care of each other is said to be a solution to avoid intervention or fraud.

It is known, a form of fraud that often occurs when a democratic party is money politics.

"Yes, that is what this intervention is always a concern and that is why I ordered our village to take care of our complexes, guard our polling stations and if there is a conditional contribution, there is giving money and others, then convey that the choice has not changed," he said.

On the other hand, when asked about the plan to meet Pramono Anung-Rano Karno to monitor the results of the vote count, Anies could not confirm it. However, so far they are still communicating.

"This morning there is a family activity first, then we will monitor it later, hopefully this afternoon or in the afternoon we can find out temporary results," said Anies.

Anies Baswedan is known to support the Pramono Anung-Rano Karno pair in the 2024 Jakarta Pilkada. The reason was that the pair number three took sides with the weak and small communities.
