Regarding The Presence Of The DST Concept SUV In Indonesia, Here's The MMKSI Response

JAKARTA - Mitsubishi introduced the concept of a new car, namely the DST Concept at the Philippine International Motor Show some time ago.

Mitsubishi Motors President and Chief Executive Officer, Takao Kato said the concept model will be a manifestation of the three-line SUV, and will launch on the Southeast Asian market next year (2025).

So will the Indonesian market be the main port?

Responding to this, the President Director of PT Mitsubishi Motors Krama Yudha Sales Indonesia (MMKSI), did not deny and give the possibility that it would be marketed in Indonesia.

"So maybe it will be launched soon, if asked which production actually has a platform similar to XForce and Xpander, maybe it can be estimated," he said, when met at ICE BSD, Tangerang, Tuesday, November 26.

The two models mentioned above, XForce and Xpander, have been assembled in Indonesia. Speculation strengthens that the latest concept model from Mitsubishi will also be assembled in the country.

Previously, General Manager of Marketing Communication & PR Division MMKSI Intan Vidiasari also revealed the presence of DST production version concepts. When asked about local assembly, he did not explain the details.

"So it is in the Philippines in the form of a concept, we'll just have to wait for the future, whether Indonesia will become a market to bring in this product or not, because next year it will be a short stay," said Intan.
