JAKARTA - Sales transactions on National Online Shopping Day (Harbolnas) in 2024 reached IDR 31.2 trillion, an increase of 21.4 percent compared to a similar event in 2023, which reached IDR 25.7 trillion. This data was revealed by Deputy Minister of Trade (Wamendag) Dyah Roro Esti.

Roro Esti also said that the sales rate of local products in Harbolnas 2024 increased by 31 percent from IDR 12.3 trillion to IDR 16.1 trillion.
Meanwhile, Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto said, in an effort to create a strong market for domestic products, the government continues to encourage promotions and campaigns so that people prefer local products.
"When the market for local products has been formed, the supply will follow automatically. This step can also help reduce dependence on imported products," said Airlangga.

The Deputy Minister of Trade also appreciated the Harbolnas program because the annual activity not only encourages domestic transaction activities, but also contributes to increasing sales of domestic products.
