JAKARTA - PT Rajawali Nusantara Indonesia (Persero) or Food Holding ID Food continues to be committed to distributing cooking oil supplies to meet the needs of the community through people's or traditional markets in several regions in Indonesia.

ID FOOD has distributed 17 million liters of cooking oil to regions in Indonesia, by dividing several locations in each region. The 17 million liters consist of 13.5 million liters until March 17 and 3.5 million for the period March 18 to April 2, 2022.

President Director of PT RNI (Persero)/ID FOOD of Food Holding, Frans Marganda Tambunan, said that ID Food is committed to the availability of cooking oil supplies to meet market needs.

Furthermore, Frans said that to meet the needs of the community, ID Food cooperates with the Association of Market Traders, Pasar Jaya, Apical Group, and other relevant stakeholders.

Frans stated that the targeted areas for the distribution of cooking oil were Aceh; Bali; Banten; Bengkulu; In Yogyakarta; DKI Jakarta; Gorontalo; Java Island; Kalimantan; Sulawesi; West Nusa Tenggara; East Nusa Tenggara; and Papua.

The total distribution of cooking oil distribution locations as a whole is 745 points, with the highest realization rate carried out in the East Java area, which was 5,772,591 liters of cooking oil, this was carried out at 215 location points.

According to Frans, along with the distribution of cooking oil, ID Food also disseminates information to Market Traders to sell cooking oil, especially in bulk according to the HET set by the Government, because it is acknowledged that currently, many traders are still selling bulk cooking oil outside the one stipulated by the Government.

"The distribution of cooking oil is also carried out with outreach to market traders to level the price of bulk cooking oil which has been distributed by ID Food to traders by the provisions", he said.

Previously, President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) also checked the people's market in the East Java area and Jokowi said that the price of bulk cooking oil was still above the price targeted by the government, which was IDR 14,000 per liter.
