Firearmed Drug Dealer Arrested At Western Resort Apartment

The West Jakarta Metro Police Narcotics Investigation Unit arrested a drug dealer with the initials WW (35) at the Western Resort Apartment, Jalan MH Thamrin, Pinang Village, Tangerang City.

West Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Twedi Aditya Bennyahdi stated that the arrests began with the results of the case development and finally led to WW as the alleged perpetrator.

"The suspect bought, owned, kept, brought, received, controlled, and consumed methamphetamine, ecstasy, ketamine, and liquid synthetic cannabis," said Kombes Twedi, Tuesday, December 2.

The police chief said that during the search, officers found various narcotics evidence ranging from methamphetamine, ecstasy, contaminants, to synthetic cannabis liquids.

In addition, the police also found digital scales, methamphetamine suction devices, and a number of cellphones that were allegedly used to support the suspect's activities.

"The evidence we found was quite diverse, ranging from methamphetamine in packages containing 0.64 grams, several types of ecstasy, more than 20 grams of ketamina, to nine bottles of synthetic canabinoid liquid," he said.

Not only narcotics, Kombes Twedi revealed that officers also found illegal weapons hidden by the suspect in his apartment unit.

Starting from Walter P22 firearms to dozens of caliber bullets.

"We also found homemade firearms, Walter P22 weapons, airsoft guns, dozens of rounds of ammunition from various calibers, and weapons storage boxes. In addition, a Honda HR-V car was also secured," he said.

For his actions, WW was charged with several legal provisions, including Article 112 paragraph (2) of Law no. 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics, with the threat of imprisonment of 5'20 years, a fine of Rp. 1 billion' Rp. 10 billion, or life imprisonment.

"Second, Permenkes RI Number 7 of 2025 is related to the classification of narcotics. Third, Article 1 paragraph (1) of the Emergency Law no. 12 of 1951 related to the possession of illegal firearms," he said.
