MBG At SDN Meruya Selatan 01 Is Still Temporarily Stopped Until The Examination Results Come Out

JAKARTA - The West Jakarta City Government (Pemkot) will follow up on the alleged poisoning case of the Free Nutrition Food (MBG) menu at SDN Meruya Selatan 01, Kembangan, which occurred on Wednesday, October 29, last.

"Meanwhile (the MBG program at SDN Meruya Selatan 01) was stopped by the Education Sub-Department, while waiting for the results from the source (the results of the investigation of the source of poisoning)," said West Jakarta Mayor Uus Kuswanto, ANTARA, Wednesday, November 5.

He argues that the MBG program certainly has shortcomings and advantages. The temporary suspension of the MBG program is a step taken for improvement.

"If I basically support the government's definite program. It's called program travel, there are less and more. What needs to be improved in the future is better," said Uus.

Meanwhile, the Head of the West Jakarta Regional 2 Education Sub-Department, Ali Mukadas, said that his party would involve a number of parties to assist the implementation of MBG at SDN Meruya Selatan 01.

"Later we will provide assistance from schools, to make sure by having discussions with parties, such as the Education Sub-Department, Health Sub-Department, Police, National Nutrition Agency (BGN) and parents of students. This is a cassual, because this is the first time this has happened in the West Jakarta area," he said.

Meanwhile, the Head of the West Jakarta Health Sub-dept., Erizon Safari, explained that his party had investigated patients suspected of being poisoned, including treatment measures.

"We have also taken food samples, and sent them to the Labkesda for laboratory tests. We have also visited and inspected the SPPG kitchen with the investigation team," he said.

The West Jakarta Health Sub-dept. and puskesmas will periodically provide guidance and monitoring of the implementation of ready-to-eat food processing at SPPG.

"So, it takes commitment and consistency from the SPPG in implementing the fast-food food sanite higiene," said Erizon.
