The People's Movement To Support The DPR To Pass The Revision Of The TNI Law

JAKARTA - Hundreds of people who are members of the People's Movement took a sympathetic action in front of the DPR Building, Senayan, Central Jakarta, Monday, March 17. They support the DPR to immediately ratify the revision of the TNI Law.

In their action, the masses demanded four things, namely supporting the Revision of the TNI Law for State sovereignty, the People's Movement to support the TNI, the strong TNI, and the wider role of the TNI is needed for the sovereignty of the people.

"This afternoon we carried out sympathetic actions, peaceful demonstrations, to really give support to the TNI, because we as Indonesian people want the strength of the TNI to protect the sovereignty of the people," said Rusdi, Coordinator of the People's Movement, during the speech.

In this action, hundreds of protesters also acted in an orderly manner and did not interfere with traffic around the DPR building area. Hundreds of demonstrators were also very enthusiastic about listening to the orator when conveying his aspirations using loudspeakers.

"This afternoon, the people of Jakarta, in particular, are biased to see that we really come down in front of the DPR, provide full support for the TNI, agree," said Rusdi, who was greeted with the screams of TNI's life by hundreds of sympathetic protesters.
