After Being Investigated About The Corruption Of The Cengkareng Flats, Prasetyo Edi: Where I Don't Know Where The Land Is?

JAKARTA - Former Chairman of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Prasetyo Edi Marsudi, stated that he did not know about the case of alleged corruption in the alleged construction of flats (rusun) in Cengkareng, West Jakarta.

The claim was conveyed after undergoing examination as a witness in the corruption case at the Police Criminal Investigation Unit.

"Regarding the West Cengkareng land, I don't understand. The land is where I don't know," Prasetyo told reporters, Monday, February 17.

According to him, in the series of examinations, the investigators did not ask him many questions. Only about six to seven questions.

On that occasion, Prasetyo explained that if the alleged corruption occurred in the 2015 period, his memorandum of office at that time he had just served as Chairman of the DKI Jakarta DPRD.

Moreover, the land acquisition for the flats is regulated in the Governor Regulation (Pergub). So, this matter is not his authority.

"Well, there in 2015 there was a governor's regulation, there was no regional regulation, it had nothing to do with me," said Prasetyo.

Meanwhile, the examination of Prasetyo Edi was the development of one of the witnesses. Where, when taking the name of the chairman of the DKI Jakarta DPRD for the 2019-2024 period, it was mentioned. Thus, investigators consider it necessary to clarify.

The alleged corruption case involved the DKI Jakarta Housing and Provincial Government Building project for the 2015 fiscal year. It is suspected that bribery has occurred to state officials which has the potential to cause state losses of Rp. 649.89 billion.
