Gerindra Answers Ganjar About The Position Of Minister: If PDIP Is Involved, Pak Prabowo Is Of Course Welcome

JAKARTA - Deputy General Chairperson (Waketum) of the Gerindra Party, Habiburokhman, responded to the issue of offering ministerial seats in Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka's cabinet against presidential candidate number 3 Ganjar Pranowo.

Habiburokhman said it was impossible for his party to offer Ganjar an offer because he had not opened a conversation with the PDI-P (PDIP) which oversees the former Governor of Central Java.

"It's impossible, for example, for example, Mas Ganjar, a PDIP cadre, we offer it directly to him, it's impossible," said Habiburokhman at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Thursday, March 28.

However, Habiburokhman said the Prabowo-Gibran coalition opened the door as much as possible to parties outside the coalition to dock in the upcoming government carriages, including the PDIP which brought the candidate pair Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD in the 2024 presidential election.

"So we are open to other political party friends besides the Advanced Indonesia Coalition (KIM)," he said.

According to him, the upcoming government needs the participation of all elements of the nation to make the vision and mission successful towards Indonesia Gold 2045. "We are back in cooperation, working together again on how to fill this development encourages the achievements of our targets as a nation and state, namely Indonesia Gold 2045, which requires the involvement of all elements, including as many political parties as possible," he said. "So if PDIP is willing to join, what I have arrested, Pak Prabowo will certainly be very welcome," said Habiburokhman.

Sebelumnya, capres Ganjar Pranowo memastikan tetap berada di luar pemerintahan jika ditawari jadi menteri di kabinet Prabowo-Gibran.

"If I was outside, maybe it would be much better because checks and balances would definitely happen and more great ones in their respective groups, especially if we look at a lot of teams or political parties that support the candidate pairs, they must also have hope," said Ganjar, Tuesday, March 26.

Ganjar's statement was then responded to by the vice presidential candidate Gibran Rakabuming Raka who questioned who offered it.

Ganjar soon answered Gibran who was wondering.

"Who has offered the information? There is no (distributed) yet," said Ganjar at the Constitutional Court Building, Central Jakarta, Wednesday, March 27.
