Israeli Anti-COVID-19 Vaccine Activist Dies Of Coronavirus, Family: He Was Stubborn

JAKARTA - Hai Shaulian's family said that the death of Israel's COVID-19 anti-vaccine activity could have been avoided if he had accepted the COVID-19 vaccine.

Hai Shaulian, a well-known Israeli activist against the coronavirus vaccine, died Monday morning at Wolfson Medical Center in Holon from the coronavirus.

His brother, Avi Shaulian in an interview with N12 as quoted from The Jerusalem Post September 15, said that his party was mourning the death of his brother who refused to ask for a COVID-19 vaccination.

"He could have seen his children married, his grandchildren married. He was too stubborn", Avi said of Hai.

"My mother is broken, family torn apart. Save your life, think of your family, parents, children", he continued.

When asked if he was trying to convince his brother to get a COVID-19 vaccine, Shaulian said he tried to convince him, but there was no way to change his mind.

"He refused to be put on a ventilator. Until the last day, he believed that his path was the right path. We tried to explain it to him in the many arguments we had", he said.

In a video uploaded to social media by Hai Shaulian while he was hospitalized at Wolfson Medical Center in Holon, Israel, Shaulian cried and asked all unvaccinated Israelis to be vaccinated.

"I was hooked up to an oxygen machine without which I would suffocate. If I let go and walk three meters, I pass out. I cough hard and feel very suffocated", he said.

"I respect you, but you have to admit your mistakes. You still have a chance to improve and save yourself. Avoid the suffering of your loved ones. We only have one soul, take good care of it", Shaulian pleaded.
