Tengku Zul Dragged PKI And General Ahmad Yani In Munarman's 'Sandal Drama', How Come?
JAKARTA - Former MUI Wasekjen Tengku Zulkarnain suddenly dragged the name of General Ahmad Yani and the banned party, the Indonesian Communist Party (PKI) into the arrest of a terrorist suspect Munarman by Densus 88 Police Headquarters.
This was revealed by Tengku Zul - Zulkarnain's nickname - via a tweet on his Twitter account, @ustadtengkuzul, Thursday, April 29. How come?
At first, Tengku Zul protested why the former General Secretary of the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) was treated rudely when he was arrested by Densus 88, Tuesday, April 27 at Modern Hills Housing, Cinangka-Pamulang, South Tangerang.
Even to wear sandals, the officers did not allow Munarman. "Densus 88 arrested Indonesian citizens, aka the people themselves, that's so rude. Not allowed to wear sandals alone? Is that what SOPs are ...? Please answer so we know," tweeted Tengku Zul.
From this tweet, Tengku Zul then compared it to General Ahmad Yani, who was not allowed by the PKI to wear only clothes.
"I remember when PKI picked up General Ahmad Yani, Army leader at that time. Even he just wants the clothes but it's prohibited. You have to go in a nightgown,"
"How come PKI treats the Army General like that. Uh, it is even said that it is Mr. Harto's responsibility. It's really crazy. PKI. Anyone who defends?" said Tengku Zul.

Several netizens in the comments column of Tengku Zul also gave striking replies. Comparing Munarman with General Ahmad Yani is clearly inaccurate.
"Levelling Munarman with the arrest of General Ahmad Yani ... !!! Munarman is tra** in the Republic of Indonesia ... If you're still in the era of your boss ... munarmn will DISAPPEAR without a trace ... Comparison between SKY & SEPTIC TANK," tweeted @Kang****

Munarman was arrested by Densus 88 on Tuesday, April 27 at around 15.30 western Indonesia time at Modern Hills Housing, Cinangka, Pamulang, South Tangerang. Munarman is suspected of mobilizing other people to commit criminal acts of terrorism, conspiring to commit criminal acts of terrorism, and withholding information about criminal acts of terrorism.
After Munarman was arrested, the Densus 88 Team also conducted a search at the former FPI banned mass organization office in Petamburan, Central Jakarta. During the search, the team found the explosive raw materials for TATP or triacetone triperoxide, acetone, and nitrates.
Seconds when he was arrested, Munarman protested to the officers. Rizieq Shihab's attorney said that this arrest was not in accordance with the law. "This is not in accordance with this law! This should be ..." said Munarman.
Having not finished continuing the sentence, Munarman's words were immediately interrupted by the officers at the location. "Come on, Sir, later, Sir, later," said an officer. Officers wearing full vests then shackled Munarman to a white car parked beside his house.
The officers also ignored Munarman's request to wear sandals. "Wait sir, I'm wearing sandals, I'm wearing sandals," said Munarman.
"Later!," replied the officer and kept shackling Munarman.
