A Number Of Buildings In Malaysia Turn On Red And White Lights To Honor The KRI Nanggala-402 Submarine Accident

JAKARTA - A number of buildings in Malaysia turned on red and white lights, Monday 26 April night, to honor the disaster of the KRI Nanggala-402 submarine and its crew in Bali Waters and to honor their families.

As reported by Antara, Tuesday, April 27, The information was uploaded by Subang Jaya resident, the State of Selangor, Misykat Rahman through the Skyscrapercity Indonesia Forum in his Facebook account, Monday night.

The post featured a number of buildings from Muhd Azran Malek's photo.

"All Malaysians mourned the death of the Nanggala-402 soldiers. The red and white flag was lit throughout the country as a sign of mourning of the loss of a brave knight from the realm of this world", he wrote.

"May their souls be showered with God's grace and pleasure. O Allah choose us to be the next syahid (an Islamic terminology which means a Muslim who dies when they are fighting in a war to defend the truth)", he hoped.

Meanwhile, the Malaysian Football account also uploaded from Johor.

"Red and white lights were lit as a mark of respect to the KRI Nanggala submarine with 53 crew which was found broken and sunk in Bali waters. Condolences to the Indonesian people for this tragedy", he said.

"We the entire family of Johor Darul Ta'zim Football Club (JDT) extend our condolences to the families of the victims of the Indonesian military submarine, KRI Nanggala 402 which was found broken on the seabed in Balinese waters along with all 53 crew who were confirmed dead.
