Day 6 Search For 3 Missing Fishermen In Cilacap Waters, SAR Team Distributes 2 Teams

The joint SAR team is still searching for three fishermen from Cilacap Regency, who reportedly lost contact.

"Entering the sixth day of the SAR operation to search for the Kennedy fishing boat and its three crew members (ship crew members) who lost contact in the southern waters of Cilacap, we divided the joint SAR team into two SRUs (Search and Rescue Units)," said epala Basarnas Cilacap Muhamad Abdullah, Sunday, January 5, confiscated by Antara.

"We have also installed relevant agencies and disseminated information to fishermen so that if they receive signs of the victim's whereabouts, they can provide information or provide assistance," Abdullah said.

Three fishermen consisting of Misrun (56), Sarno (38), and Sainu Catur Prayogo (19), residents of Tegalkamulyan Village, reportedly lost contact since Tuesday, December 31, at 12.00 WIB.

In this case, the Kennedy ship carrying the three fishermen should have arrived at the Cilacap Ocean Fishing Port (PPS) pier on Tuesday, December 31, at 12.00 WIB, but until the afternoon it had not returned, so the incident was reported to the Cilacap Basarnas at 18.10 WIB.
