Feasibility Test Of KPK Capim, First Day Take Number Urut And Explain 90 Minute Mission Vision

JAKARTA - Chairman of Commission III of the DPR Habiburokhman explained the mechanism for the first day of the fit and proper test for candidate leaders (Capim) and candidates for the supervisory board (Dewas) of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).

On the first day, 10 KPK Capims will take serial numbers on Monday, November 18 morning. Followed by 10 KPK Dewas candidates during the day.

"The next process, Monday morning taking serial numbers, making papers. Monday afternoon it immediately fit and proper for 10 candidates first, then 10 candidates," said Habiburokhman at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Friday, November 15.

After that, 10 Capim and Cadewas KPK will be given the opportunity to explain their vision and mission until the last day of the fit and proper test on Thursday, November 21. The implementation of this feasibility test also lasted for four days from 18-21 November 2024.

"Continuing maybe a day, maybe four or five people until the last date is Thursday, 21st. So it is possible that because there are demands from colleagues of Commission III for this period, that as much as possible members are given the opportunity to talk long," said Habiburokhman.

The deputy governor of Gerindra said that there were slight differences in the fit and proper test of Capim and Cadewas KPK than in the past period. He said Capim 10 and Cadewas 10 would be given longer time than in the previous fit and proper test.

"There is something a little different from the previous period. Such as the fit and proper test of judges or constitutional judges, one participant is only invited for one hour, this time 90 minutes, so there is flexibility. We really want these friends to seriously explore the vision and mission carried out by the Capim and Cadewas," said Habiburokhman.

In addition, said Habiburokhman, Commission III of the DPR will ask for public input on candidates for the leadership of the KPK and the KPK Council. The input, he said, was in the form of aspirations from the public in writing aimed at the Secretariat of Commission III of the DPR RI at the Nusantara II Building Parliament Complex.

"The public, in addition to entrusting input, can also entrust questions to us through our factions through these student factions as well," said Habiburokhman.

"We hope that the public can provide as much input as possible to us in conducting a fit and proper test tomorrow," said Habiburokhman.
