Minister Of State Secretary: ASN Transfers To IKN Do Not Need To Be Berbondong-bondong

Minister of State Secretary (Mensesneg) Prasetyo Hadi said the plan to transfer the work of the state civil apparatus (ASN) from Jakarta to the capital city of the archipelago (IKN) does not need to be carried out in droves.

"We'll see. Here, it's better to focus, right, so there's no need for everyone to flock," he said in response to questions about the sustainability of IKN, in Magelang, Central Java, Sunday, October 27, which were confiscated by Antara.

In his statement, the Minister of State Secretary highlighted the importance of working visits to IKN focused on key ministries, such as the Ministry of Public Works, the Coordinating Ministry for Regional Infrastructure and Development, and the Ministry of Finance.

"If you just look there, there's no need to be busy. Just the key ministry," he said.

When asked about when the presidential regulation regarding the relocation of the nation's capital was carried out, Prasetyo said he was still studying the file, before it would be signed by President Prabowo Subianto.

"Yes, we'll see, we'll study it. As soon as everything is ready, it's ready, he will sign," he said.

Previously, Deputy Minister of Public Works (PU) Diana Kusumastuti on Wednesday, October 23, said that Prabowo's inauguration of the Garuda Palace at IKN had been included in his plan for the first 100 working days.

"Maybe there are inaugurations that we are ready to inaugurate, such as the Garuda Palace," he said.
