Wanting To Cut Corruption Practices, The Minister Of Communication And Information Asks For Accelerated Development Of The Digital INA Platform
JAKARTA - Minister of Communication and Information (Menkominfo) Budi Arie Setiadi said the government is accelerating the development of Digital INA as a more qualified platform for the Electronic-Based Government System (SPBE) because of its urgency to cut corrupt practices.
"This can cut corrupt practices because they are transparent with digitalization," Budi said in his statement received on Wednesday.
Budi stated that President Joko Widodo's vision to focus on transforming public services that are faster, more transparent and efficient. The presence of INA Digital, as Indonesia's GovTech, is one of the main pillars in realizing this vision.
Therefore, it is necessary to accelerate the development of Digital INA to optimize the platform in line with the acceleration of national digital transformation.
"This is again about to be accelerated, accelerating the development of Digital INA," said Budi.
Budi further mentioned that one of the steps to accelerate the development of Digital INA that has been carried out between ministries and institutions is to carry out the harmonization process.
The process is carried out to provide optimal public service integration from each ministry and institution after all services are merged into Digital INA.
"This is again a meeting for harmonization of various ministries and institutions," he said.

On Friday (16/8), Minister of Communication and Information Budi Arie Setiadi stated his commitment to accelerating Indonesia's digital transformation through Digital INA.
With the presence of the Digital INA platform, Budi said that people can get better and more accessible government services.
Some of the services that will soon be integrated include population administration, education, health, police, social assistance, and immigration.
"With INA Digital, it will be easier for people to access services, such as health, education, and social assistance," Budi said in a statement at the time.
In order for INA Digital to successfully connect a number of public services and including priority services optimally, Budi believes that strong collaboration from various parties is needed.
In terms of support, the Ministry of Communication and Informatics is committed to supporting the operations of Digital INA by preparing the operations of the National Data Center (PDN).
He said that the Ministry of Communication and Informatics is currently accelerating the development of PDN in Cikarang, West Java. In addition, the government will rebuild two PDNs in Batam and the capital city of Nusantara (IKN) as support for the integration of digital public services.
"We support and are in line with President Jokowi's instructions to accelerate digital transformation by integrating all government digital services for public services faster and more quality," Budi closed his statement.
