Indonesian Bawaslu Highlights The 2024 Serang Pilkada Impact Of Voice Inflation And Lost Documents At 20 TPS
JAKARTA - The Indonesian Bawaslu paid special attention to Serang City during the simultaneous regional head elections (Pilkada) due to inflated votes and the disappearance of 20 C documents results at 20 polling stations during the 2024 election.
"With this problem, it is a special concern," said the Chairman of the Indonesian Bawaslu, Rahmat Bagja, in Serang, Saturday, August 31, as reported by Antara.
According to him, with this problem making Serang City included in the potential for election insecurity, the finding of inflating votes was proven in the Constitutional Court (MK).
"So the potential for vulnerability is in Serang City. Why, because there are problems," he said.

He said that during the 2024 Pilkada there were at least three crucial stages, namely the stages of nomination, campaign, and counting collection. And based on the Bawaslu mapping, the election vulnerability in Banten is moderately vulnerable.
"Bantens are moderately vulnerable. Although there is this dynamic at the time of the governor's candidacy, I think this tradition has begun to be proven," he said.
He also emphasized that the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) should not participate in the campaign for regional head candidates. This is because ASN is a government apparatus that is prohibited by statutory regulations.
"ASN cannot participate in the campaign. He is not allowed to attend the campaign, he cannot, for example, carry a regional head, he cannot participate in the program for prospective regional head candidates," he said.
